01/24/2012 - (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Detroit Tigers have reportedly reeled in the biggest remaining free agent on the market: Prince Fielder.

Multiple media outlets are reporting the first baseman agreed to a nine-year, $214 million contract with the Tigers.

The 27-year-old Fielder has clubbed 230 home runs and driven in 656 runs in his major league career of six-plus seasons, all spent with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Fielder finished third in the voting for the National League Most Valuable Player last year after batting .299 with 38 homers and 120 RBI.

A three-time All-Star and career .282 hitter, Fielder has missed one game in the past three seasons.

His father, Cecil, played for the Tigers from 1990-96.
